The first announced national park of Nepal now also a world heritage site announced by UNESCO is none other than our national pride our Chitwan national Park. The national park covers a huge area of 932 square kilometers providing shelter to worlds endangered species of animals and plants.

Chitwan falling in tropical monsoon climate humidity can be felt year round, likewise the position of Chitwan is such that monsoon arrives in the month of June and waves of good bye toward the end of September. The temperature in the winters remains around +18 degree Celsius with mist and fog throughout the day and around +36 degrees in the summers.  

Chitwan national park is one of the most developed national parks in terms of food, beverages, lodging and recreation. There is several class of accommodation according to the rank people decide to reside at.

Coming to the point Chitwan jungle offers three different ways of safari in the Jungle- by foot, on a jeep and on an elephant. The certainty of witnessing endangered one horn Rhino’s is for sure, except for rhinos deer, monkeys, wild buffalo and birds are seen in their natural state in any of the above mentioned safaris. The rare Bengal tigers that do not prefer to be under the open sky in such busy national park can be usually witnessed in jeep safaris which go deep in the dense forest of Chitwan National park.
